A historic tradition

Rum holds a special place in the history of Maison Jacoulot. It all dates back to World War II, when our spirits were requisitioned.

To preserve her family business, Germaine Jacoulot then decided to import rums from Martinique. This historic connection has been perpetuated, and today we put all our savoir-faire in the selection of Rums from traditional distilleries around the world.

Elaboration

After an ageing in casks for several months on Reunion Island, our rums benefit from a second ageing period of over 12 months in barrels having previously contained our Fine de Bourgogne.

Tasting reveals a slightly amber color, a nose of flambéed banana, combined with the finesse of our Fine de Bourgogne and a subtle hint of wood.
